i think mollini have some nice ankle boots that are similar to the chloes, but if you are gonna invest in a pair invest on ebay not instore, a hell of a lot cheaper on ebay than DJ's or other stores

hahah lis I know, I've spent about an hour flicking back to NAP while doing work and staring at the Marni shoes.
I've got a pair of Irregular Choice ankle booties on the way - black leather with gold fishscale print, split toe (haha "camel toe"), Mollini man-style patent black and white leather ankle booties with a chunky heel, and two pairs of leather peeptoe platforms with bow detail on the front (in red and black), plus two pairs of leather cowboy boots my parents brought back from Hong Kong as well as my Dad's 30-year old pairs of cowboy boots (like 5 of them, too big but I'm ignoring that woohoo) so I guess these will replace my Marni fantasies. I guess these are my "shoes of the season"
EDIT: just spied the Marni cream slingback squaretoe platforms with black elastic back... ok I want these too

I know! I'm sorry hehehe..... I've been staring at the cream slingbacks for ages now, blown up with all the different views going "ooh...ahhh" and wondering whether I can justify it. My current saying to self is "If i get these (or the silvers, I like 'em both equally, love silver but I've always had a soft spot for cream leather), these will be the ONLY shoes I'll get ALL winter" but that's BS and a half... eeek!
