lulababy A friend of mine wore this to her formal, she got it off ebay for a similar price and i'm pretty sure it was real. If not, it was a damn good copy. Its absolutely stunning!

wow you girls have great formal outfits worked out! i rememeber by yr 12 formal, this was my pre vogue days where i was poor and never spent a lot of money on clothes. i wore the dress i made for my DT project. because i was cheap, i made it "eco friendly" by using only recycled materials so my formal outfit only cost $20. i wish i knew then what i know now. oh well gook luck girls you are all going to look beautiful at your formals!

Sometimes I think it works out cheaper getting it made rather than buying!
If you find a picture of something you absolutely love, most dress makers (well the good ones anyway) should be able to make a pretty good replica! wow you've inspired me to get one made, i always imagined made ones to turn out dodgy. I can't find a dress so I'm leaning towards getting one made! Do you mind me asking how much it was?

xx i have a pair of Miu Miu silver glitter heels which look cute with it, but i think any sort of silver heel would be gorg, nothing too glitzy (the Miu Mius can look a bit princessy sometimes ) I don't love strappy silver heels, but a silver peep-toe will look great, a friend of mine has a pair from Shoe Biz, they have a little bit of shimmer but aren't over-the-top, they'd match the AM dress well IMO
