there was a brand, applegator or something similar that made them. Industrie, glue and other similar stores stocked them, a while ago i was looking for some for someone else and they had all basically sold out, not sure if they've restocked but you could try those stores.
i got mine from south america, very cheap

There are 3 that I know of in the city...
One on the corner of George and Quay St, just across from central station. One is further up George towards Town Hall and there is one as soon as you turn left coming out of Kingscross station.
They have all sorts of shoes and are pretty cheap.
