What's Your Best/Latest Op Shop Find?
Question:
I love Op Shop shopping, but I never seem to be able to find something worth while. However, just the other day I made a fabulous purchase, if I do say so myself, at the Point Lonsdale Op Shop (Melbourne). I found a blue and white striped beach bag with an anchor on the front for just 50c!
What's your best or latest Op Shop find?

Answer:
my 2 best op shop finds are two tight shrunkin leather bomber jackets, a black and a grey. close second would be my white lace high waisted tulip mini that was an old wedding dress.

It's actually made in Italy, and there was not a single stain/mark or flaw, and it had authenticity cards too!

Answer:
I've got millions (I'm a hardcore vintage shopper) - some that stand out (this is op shops only, not garage sales, markets or ebay):
Beautiful 1940s dress in perfect wearable condition - fitted me exactly - $1 from Savers.
Amazing gold 1930s dancing shoes in immaculate wearable condition and fitted me (I have since trashed them by wearing them out dancing a lot) - $4 Salvos
Marni silk caftan top/dress (2 or 3 years ago when that was totally on-trend) - as new condition - $15 St Vinnies
80s embellished top (like a butterfly top but with a parrot) - $8 from small random op shop. I love this because it's just so OTT.
I must take some pics.
Now I'm a mummy, so a lot of my best op shop bargains are for my kidlet. I got a Kenzo Jungle jumper at St Vinnies yesterday for $3.

Answer:
Ordinarily I love op-shopping. But I have to vent a bit - today I paid a visit to an old favourite (I had left it a while so the next time I went there would be heaps of new stuff) and was really disappointed. A lot of 'vintage' Temt, Witchery and Cue that had aged only a few years.
On a lighter note, in the past I've picked up an irridescent silver purse with long shoulder strap for $15, and a silk cami gathered at the bust with tie-up shoulder straps for around the same.

Answer:
I've found heaps of great stuff in Op shops. I love them. You just have to be in the right place at the right time.
