Best ever find has to be my brand new condition flat black leather riding boots by Country Road that I found a year or so ago. Fit perfectly and were so great because it's just what I was looking for at the time and could not find in any store so I was so happy, but even happier with my find when I realised a few weeks later they were Country Road!
Also, not from an Op Shop but got a gorgeous leather jacket from the 60's from my Mum that fits me perfectly and I'm always get complimented on...she still reminds me 'that cost me three pays to buy it' Looking at old photos I really wish she would have saved all her clothes from when she was young...they were so cool and we are the same size!
Have been inspired by this thread to go op shopping this weekend...

Last week I went to Salvo's and picked up an awesome belt for $1! Great for wearing over cardis.
I've only just gotten into Op shopping, it's so fun to rummage around and see what you can dig up, although a lot of my friends don't seem to understand why anyone would want a second hand item...oh well, their loss.

Answer:
Go a lovely knee length grey jacket with big buttons for $2. Is this in fashion? I never know.
Overall though, do you often think op shops price themselves out of the market? There is this Salvos near me and the place is crammed with stuff, like TShirts from KMart for $10, when you can get the same stuff new at the moment on sale. I think if they reduced their prices they would sell more. I find coats, etc better value, because they just price everything at $10. I only buy the half priced items.
Op shops must be more expensive in Perth. Having said that, this thread has inspired me to go for a look soon.
