thanks for those threads flying_carpet. i was wondering what was wrong with white pants?
i would probably be dancing alot so i was wondering if jeans would be too hot?
i was thinking like maybe knee-length shorts and heels, or my s&b white denim skirt? or is a white miniskirt too skanky?
lol is supre a good place to look for dressy tops?
sounds fine!
Go to Arthouse for Kink, they always have really good DJ's
Home nightclub is big and always have good DJ's too
bars etc pontoon, cargo bar are at cockle bay they are good
I usually go to the cross as i like to go to change my scenery alot and there are heaps of house clubs there like Moulin Rouge, YU, Plan B, Le Panic)
If your after something up-market with lots of rich guys..go to Hugo's in Darlinghurst Road
(these places are all house music that im mentioning, sorry cant help you if you were after RnB or trance etc--except for Wallaby bar at Cockle Bay--that is apparently good for RnB and Top 40 etc)
If you are dancing Allllll night then go with skirt/shorts

Answer:
My staple outfit when I go clubbing includes:
+ sexy top
+ hot jeans
+ killer heels
And that's it.

Answer:
I'd probably steer clear of Supre. Every second girl at Kink is wearing those horrid chepo supre tops... usually in a leopard print. Sorry, I'm not a big fan of the 'supre clone'. If the night isn't too hot and steamy (temperature wise), you should be right in jeans. Most good clubs have air con. Nothing wrong with a great pair of jeans and heels and original top for clubbing. I find it fun to wear mini's too (although not of the denim variety at night... with heels they can look a bit yucky), plus at the moment they are a nice change from shorts. When I was at tank a few weeks ago there was black cuffed shorts and plain singlet overkill.
I think that wherever you go, (if we are talking about a house oriented club), as long as you look "nice" you will get in (... girls really don't have to worry as much as boys). So if you wear your make up, do your hair, get on a cute outfit and grab a pair of heels, you'll get into most clubs.
Try giving Zoo Emporium or Grandma takes a trip or some other cute vintage shop a look, they usually have pretty tops, heels or bags that you can buy to give your outfit a nice little touch
Have fun, clubbing and dancing is one of the greatest things in life hehehehe xxx

Yep, although I'm not usually a dress wearer, those outfits are very lovely. Plus, they are very ideally equipped for making the transition from drinks on the harbour to a kings cross club.

Answer:
wear whatever you feel comfy in, as you continue going out you'll get the hang of what people wear at different places (not that it really matters) for your frist nights out just wear something you'd normally wear but add heels, if you'd like
personaly all i'm wearing at the moment is dresses, i havent touch my shorts (at night) in months!

Answer:
yeah i'm also finding dresses great. so much easier getting dressed. then all you need to match is generally shoes and bag. then if you want jewellery/belt. and so comfortable (well my dresses are)

Answer:
My friends and I have a tendancy of over-dressing. It works out ok because even though we look different/more dressed up than others, since all of us do it it doesnt look too bad
Im going all out tonight, we're celebrating my friends' bday

Answer:
I think the safest options at the moment are:
Black skinny leg jeans and a cami/nice top + heels
Shorts and a funky top + heels/wedges
A nice dress
Even a simple outfit is fine, you can always use accessories. Never underestimate the power of accessories
