I'm not that tall, but whenever I buy or try so-called knee socks, they just don't reach my knees! When I want knee socks, I want ones that go just a teeny bit over the knee! I don't want right ON the knee cause that looks silly. I don't mind just under it, but they don't even do that! I find all of them tend to end somewhere around my mid calf. GRR!
Where can you get REAL knee high socks!?

I find this really strange too, i'm a shorty and knee socks never even hit my knee!!
It's wierd because most australian labels cater for a tall person (ie, 170cm and above) eg pants
but socks are always too short.

kmart-target-myer depends what kinda brand your looking for. you can get them in asian shops as well. cause knee socks arent suppose to go over the knee anyways, it suppose to just sit slighty above your calves. i think you need to also get the ones that isbetter quality cause cheap socks have cheap elastics which just becomes loose in the top end of sick, preventing it to stay up.

Hmm, yes...I do tend to skimp on socks. I always find them so annoying, yet I love socks. LOL. But only to show off (as in the knee socks I now search for) with short skirts, etc, or for pure warmth and comfort behind closed doors in Winter, in which case I want fluffy, soft, thick and ones that actually stay up but at the same time don't cut off the circulation in my legs!! And also, as I said before, aren't really short.
Yeah, I actually do want above the knee socks for display socks, but for comfort socks, I want knee socks, but ones that do go almost up to the knee, cause I also find once they're worn a few times, they end up only going up to my ankles!
