try a fluffy mohair cardi (wrap around?),(I have one that would go perfecly with it: a deep deep moss green with teeny tiny flecks of fushia and yellow etc)
a belt over the cardi (very very fitted); either a thick waist belt (the lisa ho would be perfect! depends on the colour you got eventually ) or a very thin (eye-popping colour like gold/silver etc)
