I recently bought a high waisted skirt from Cue. It is one that has a belt with it and is quite long ( goes below the knee, maybe calf length??) and I dont know what to wear it with
Anyway Im a stay at home mum, so I cant wear it to the office!! How can I wear it out?? I love wearing patterned stockings ( from Alannah Hill) but what type of shoes/boots and tops can I wear with it

do some people think this style of skirt makes you look awfully top heavy chest & stomach wise? (even if your the flattest person in the world) and is way ott in every shop.
This is a problem after searching in 10 different shops the other day.......do you think I could find a normal ******* waisted black skirt and not pay $300 for it???

Is the Cue skirt I bought ok to wear even if your short?? I tried it on with flats but felt very frumpy even though im a size 6-8.

I find Country Road seamfree tanks perfect for tucking into highwaisted skirts. also a loose low scoop neck tee or a thin cheesecloth blouse, unbuttoned lowish with the sleeves rolled up looks really nice. for shoes I'd go for heeled ankle boots (I would avoid taller flat boots if you're short) and chunky platform wedges for a dressy occasion and ballet or pointy flats for day. now that it's getting colder you can wear a cropped swing jacket/cape/cardi on top (if it's too long it will look like it's swamping you) plus tights. add a nice leather or chain waist belt and the skirt will look gorgeous
