I think basque are a regular sizing. Keep in mind that most Miss Shop gear is actually smaller sizing, though, so a Tokito 10 will probably be smaller than a basque 10. I agree that Review is good, but a little more exxy. Jigsaw is great too, if you want to spend a little extra.

how about trying MNG? i have a nice pair - size 6, that fit me really well. i'm not sure how long they will last though because i don't wear them as often.

If the CR 4 is too big for you, the SABA 6 will be as well. I found them to be about the same size - both too big for me as well.
Maybe try Satch, apparently they have smaller sizing. I can't get them here in W.A. though so haven't tried them myself.
If you find some really nice quality pants that fit, please post what you found!... I am still looking.
