even though im pretty short (start thinking along the lines of 1.5m), i prefer flat boots - theyre more versatile. i can wear mine to uni without having to change shoes if im going out that night. more practical, in my opinion. and you can find really nice flat boots. the pair i bought weren't incredibly expensive either, and they look great
