I still prefer if the hardware is gold though. And the white patent doesnt have the short strap like the other leather ones. So you cant hand carry it.
also the long strap is a bit different, its wider and 1/2 of it is knotted like the short strap for the leather ones.

Yeah I prefer the gold hardware too. Some girls on TFS were really excited about the silver hardware - it looks a lot more luxe in gold.
I heard something about the newer versions having different straps. I prefer the older one, but I'm biased.
The black patent version went on sale at 50% off on the Neiman Marcus site after Christmas but I was too late

The Coffer bag is the link to the auction shows a fake. These bags do not sell for that price. Also the hardware and leather look wrong.
