Eyeshadow base ?
Question:
Can anyone suggest a really good ES base ? I have a few ball makeups coming up and i need to find a base that will make the ES on all night .
I really the MAC fluidlines as ES bases i have macroviolet, brassy and rich ground but i want one that i can use under all colours .I am thinking possibly about getting 'frostlite' but i had a look on MUA pics and im concerned this may be to white under all ES ?has anyone used that one as base ?
So if anyone has any suggestions thatd be great ! Im open to all brands ...but i want something available in NZ (which narrows the field down a lot !!!),i would get the urban decay primer but its not available over here and i dont really wanna get it off the internet .thanks

Answer:
UDPP is a miracle in a bottle, seriously. It's definitely worth hunting down, it's above and beyond all other eyeshadow bases I've ever tried.
But if you don't have any access to UDPP then maybe try Clinique Touch Base in Canvas or Canvas Light (depending on your skintone) or Ultima II Fade Not Crease Not (should be available in Myer by the Revlon counter).
Hope that helps somewhat

Answer:
I use:
*Mac Shadesticks
*Clinique Touch Tints
*BB Cream e/s sticks
all as bases and they work great!

I asked this question a while ago and the overwhelming response was UDPP. I took the plunge and it's great.
I was a former user of Clinique Touch Base in Canvas which is good but UDPP is better!

Answer:
I tried urban decay primer potion after reading the rave reviews here, and I have to say they were right-staying power for your eyeshadow and no crease! I bought it from cosmetic emporium online

Answer:
Definately MAC paints.. similar effect to the fluidlines but better colour range and feels better on the eye too. There are lots of neutral colours that wont affect your shadow colour like bare canvas and stilife

Answer:
MAC Bare Canvas paint

Answer:
Ultima II Fade Not Crease Not (FNCN) - under the impression that it was discontinued but am probably wrong

MAC paint Bare Canvas

Answer:
I swear by UDPP, but whenever I can't find it I use MAC bare canvas paint which is pretty good too

Answer:
I also love Ultima II Fade Not Crease Not but I admittedly haven't tried UDPP.. I have a huge problem with eyeshadows faaaaaaaaaading and this keeps the colour nice and vibrant and stays on all day/night
ETA: that being said, if I accidentally use slightly more than the teeniest amount it can be a little crepey and it looks best applied with a brush.
