Question:
Could you guys recommend me a good base/top coat? I've tried a couple of Coles & chemist brands, and to be honest, they were appalling
I'm definitely willing to spend extra for a really great product.

The Rimmel one in the tiny bottle w/ black handle/lid/brush.
I love it! Its so nice and shiny and I put it on before & after my LPAD and that was on Friday and its still perfect now after a hard weekend. No chips or scratches, tips are still intact. =]

I use the Seche Clear base coat which i find to be quite good. I also use OPI Top Coat but it seems to have gone gluggy in the bottle -apparently Revlon colour stay is quite good

I use Chanel's protective base coat and #50 top coat and my polish lasts for ages (it's been 2 weeks and counting) with no chips. It's a bit pricey but well worth it in my opinion.

I love my MaxFactor top coat. I use it as a base coat coat as well. It makes my nail polish last through all the trauma I put it through for much longer than any other top coat I've ever tried before.
And it's inexpensive.
