Good Quality Makeup Brushes
Question:
I was wondering if anyone knew of any good quality brushes for applying liquid foundation and concealer, preferably handmade and for a reasonable price??? Makeup just doesn't seem to go the distance when I apply with the sponges.

Answer:
I got a foundation brush from The Body Shop for around $23 and its great. So soft

I think paintbrushes are an excellent investment, actually. They were made to apply paint to a flat surface initially, and that's all foundation is, really. This is true especially for synthetics.

Totally agree with the Bunnings brushes post. I was shown the famous NARS push and wiggle eyeliner brush in Mecca, and was informed it was $60.
Restrained myself from laughing in the SA's face, then wandered down the street to Bunnings and got an identical taklon brush for around $4.

Answer:
yeah the bunnings brushes are really good! the prices vary from around $3-$12. They have a good selection and a variety of different fibres

I agree, I bought two lovely, soft sable brushes from Bunnings for eyeshadow & eyeliner... each cost around $12
But when it comes to foundation & concealer brushes, I think synthetic fibre brushes are recommended...mmm, not sure?
