(this is the first brush i ever bought ops: ) i'm a brush virgin too! i'm gonna go get the body shop one tomorrow! Answer: I use Red Earth Brushes. You may also want to visit the Paul's Choice website for australia. They also sell animal hair brushes. Answer: I'm reviving this thread after reading the other one about the two MAC brushes.. I'm tempted to buy the stipple brush but then I remembered this thread from years ago about brushes from bunnings! I would like to know if anyone that previously posted about having brushes from bunnings (or art stores) - do you still use them? Have you previously/since bought higher-end brushes (e.g. MAC) that you could compare them to? Answer: I have a mix of brushes from MAC, Becca and Stila through TBS to Art store ones (like you'd get at Bunnings). You just have to know what you want and what the options are. I only use synthetic, so for me the Art Store synthetic brushes offer a good range of fine tip and square brushes for eyeliner and shadow. These brushes I find are comparable to ones I looked at from makeup brands, including MAC.However the other brushes I have I didn't find similar quality options for. I have eye brushes from MAC, Stila and TBS, for powder and blush I have a Kabuki from the US and brushes from TBS, and my concealer brush is from Becca.
