Brush for tightlining
Question:
hi Voguettes I am a tightlining brush newbie I usually apply pencil eyeliner to the outer lower rims, and tightline using a cottonbud,so it is a softer look, just makes my eyelashes look fuller. but I am wanting to get an eyeliner brush, but I need recs on the slanted brush or the flat brush? TIA! Answer: What's tightlining? Answer: MAC 209. You're better off using a fine-tipped pencil-style brush than a slanted brush; the fine tip gives more control and you're less likely to accidently smudge it everywhere. Answer: http://forums.vogue.com.au/showthread.php?t=154364 that is a thread about tighlining Answer: Stila #4 brush gets my vote Answer: how do i stop poking myself in the eye doing this???sounds good, but I'd probably want to see a video. Answer: you do it by not looking at yourself in the eye. Close your eyes, pry one lid open and begin lining. You get used to it. Answer: also make sure you smush it as much as you can in your eyelashes - not just under the eyelashes on the rim. makes a world of difference Answer: OK, I get what it is now! I use the little brush that comes with the Prestige liquid eyeliner, I find it makes it really easy to apply eyeliner on the inner rims of the eye. I only do the upper lid though, lower lid makes my eyes look too small. Answer: I use MAC #266 with my fluidlines, specifically to line my top lashline with eyeliner to make my lashes look fuller.
