Iron Chef Makeup Challenge - Page 3
Question:
HPH, lovely! blue looks wonderful on you i was just looking through your photobucket pics (hope you dont mind!) and i love this look (Feb 11th #4) Answer: Hmmm... bright blue is probably the worst colour I could try to wear. But I'm up for it. I might go more navy, though. Going blue/green is cheating, surely? Answer: Nah - this is cheating: http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v3...ablue2open.jpg Thanks again for the Stila loose powder. HPH's recipe for In-Your-Face blue eyes.... 1. Pinch of Azreal Blue pigment 2. Blend in A Bluer Blue (Mac Warm Eye Delights palette) 3. Top with Little Madam 4. Carerfully add in Blue Peep fluidline and Clinique Indigo quickliner 5. Finish with mascara and leave to set for 2 minutes Finished Product: 1 2 3 4 sorry the last pic is really blurry and please ignore crappy, foundation-free skin Stunning HPH we both have brown eyes ! I have not worn those colours for years but will now Answer: Originally Posted by mariagare Nah - this is cheating: http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v3...ablue2open.jpg Thanks again for the Stila loose powder. So glad it's gone to a good home Answer: Originally Posted by mariagare Nah - this is cheating: http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v3...ablue2open.jpg Thanks again for the Stila loose powder. Gorgeous, but yes cheating Answer: Count me in! (although I'm sad its happening the day after I went all out blue! ) Will have to whip something up while I'm in Melbourne... No time beforehand... I really like your new thread, Ggirl! So good for using up stuff that's been inadvertently neglected... thanks so much for starting this! Am hoping to see LaDi's blues here, she is one of my EOTD inspirations! variation of a blue look I've been liking lately, but with some stuff I haven't used in a while. eye base: ~ HBG Shiny Penny on inner third of lid ~ Delphic fluidline sheered out on outer 2/3 of lid and patted lightly into lower waterline shadows: ~ Bourjois Suivez Mon Regard loose shimmer powder in 17 regard or scintillant (metallic warm amber'd gold) wetfoiled on inner third and thinly on inner corner and inner third of lower lashline ~ MAC Electric Eel patted dry on Delphic base to neutralise ~ Lancaster Ombre à Paupières Cameleon in Pool Vibrations (bright shimmery aqua) packed damp on outer third and wetlined under lower lashline ~ Masquerade loose shimmer powder 18 (aquamarine blue with shimmery golden reflects) to blend between the Bourjois gold and Lancaster aqua ~ Lancaster Ombre à Paupières Cameleon in Midnight Ocean (deep shimmery navy, similar to MAC Flashtrack) dry-blended lightly in outer V and crease to define, and patted wet on waterline BB e/s in vanilla buttercream to blend crease colour into Shroom as brow highlight (sheer) ~ MAC Liquidlast Liner in Inky winged out on upper lashline I love the Liquidlasts so very much! ~ MAC blue pigment mixed into paste with clear mascara and applied onto tips of lashes only It sounds like a heck of a lot of Mimi, but it's quite wearable, really; you only see the brights when I blink. Though it will all wash off (barring the impregnable immoveability of the liquidlast liner) as soon as the first wave hits me. And the blue-ness goes quite nicely with my new bikini. Answer: OK - am up for the challenge tonight (in the safety of my apartment). Expect pix tomorrow..... Answer: I was gonna suggest a wee bit of Stila AOS#9 to blue peep for simmery shimmer ( the simmer typo says it all) Was Delphic not a shimmery sorta blue peep to you? Let me go see...brb...
