Obsessive Compulsive Makeup Addict
Question:
Can anyone else relate ? I was told the other day I am really OC over makeup and that I am like a junkie looking for fix . I buy things even though I already own things that are pretty much the same. Really how many peach blushes are to many ? I try to ban myself but I will break the ban in like a week I tell myself makeup is so pointless etc etc.... but I am always lured by the pretty colours and nice packaging, like a bug to the light. I always pay my rent, bills etc but the money I should be saving I spend on makeup. They need to have a AA for makeup addicts. Answer: I can relate totally! I have an obsession that cannot be controlled! I HAVE to buy something everytime I enter a shop. I have stuff that I dont even use, but I still buy it! I get all my bills paid on time too, but I dont have any back up money "for a rainy day". I agree, there should be an AA for makeup addicts! Answer: Me too. I have almost weaned myself off buying from real shops (though can never resist "just a stroll" through Myer or Priceline) but now find I need a regular fix of online makeup shopping - my life would be empty without S-Net (), and all the others, even eBay when I'm desperate... Very sad. Answer: Im with you all! Everytime I walk into Bondi Junction Westfield (which is every other week) I tell myself that I better by something from MAC incase I don't come back for a while....HA! Im there more often than I am at home... I hate to say that this Forum + the specktra one are to blame! Answer: I would definitely be a member i spend about $500 a week usually, sometimes more or a little bit less....... I have two large tables in my room with my makeup displayed on it Answer: I'm with you girls. I love love love makeup. Sxykitten I spend the same amount too!!! I always so sick afterwards. Sephora and the Myer beauty counters are soo evil! Answer: $500 a week on makeup?! And I thought that *I* was bad....... Answer: Girls $500 per week = $26,000 for the year! Whoa! I am addict too, but have it under control now. Lately though I have this thing where I wanna buy all items in the one brand, brushes and all. Answer: I buy lipsticks from diff brands only to get home and realise they are all virtually the same shade.....and I never wear them.....and I buy make-up to cheer myself up, but rarely stray from base/powder/blush/mascara combo.....I just like to get it all out every now and then and play make-up ladies! Answer: Who isnt forever searching for that *perfect* product that will make you look effortlessly polished? Copyright ? 2006 - 2007 www.thankhealth.com Privacy Policy
