Meow Cosmetics
Question:
I've been reading in some others threads about meow mineral foundations and I thought it deserved its own thread. Can anyone who has ordered samples write a review? I am particulary interested in how it compared to EM. Thanks! Answer: SoniaMurphy's written a couple of reviews, I think they're in the Slap thread But she has plenty of raves about it! I was thinking of doing a sample order. Answer: i ordered some samples of foundation, blush and some eyeshadows! at first when i was reaading through the descriptions i got confused and basically was going to order all of them, but then i emaile dthem and they were helpful in narrowing down some choices for me Answer: I ordered some samples a few days ago - I'll let you know what they're like when they arrive! Answer: I also ordered some recently, which I'll review when they arrive. I'm a fair redhead with yellow and pink undertones and ordered Mau, Siamese & Persian in #2 and #3 Answer: Just found this colour chart under the site map.... http://www.meowcosmetics.com/FoundationColorChart.htm Answer: Originally Posted by Purple angel Just found this colour chart under the site map.... http://www.meowcosmetics.com/FoundationColorChart.htm Gosh they really do have heaps of colours don't they? Very impressive...Might have to order some samples....Hmmm.... Answer: I just ordered some Answer: I ordered some samples the other day too, I'll be sure to review them when they arrive! Answer: I got 9 foundation samples (only US$1 each) plus some eyeshadow ones and got them very fast. They also tossed in a couple of extra foundation ones. They come in baggies which I tipped into little jars and labelled. The samples are very generous, but I have to say that the colours seem to run very light. I am usually the lightest or 2nd lightest, but in some of these I'm looking at the third one up. The Chausie especially are extremely light and also a little bit pinkish. Surprisingly the Mau sample they sent for free is quite good (can't usually wear warm colours) but my best match will probably be the Siamese (neutral) in the second lightest colour. The Bengal (beige undertone) are an odd colour - look kind of pink/gray on me - but the Persian (peach) don't look too bad and aren't excessively peachy. The foundation is very finely milled and goes on well. It is fairly light coverage, but can be built up easily (can also be mixed with the matching concealer for extra coverage). Apparently the full-size jar is huge and I think is only US$16.95. I understand that they also have a heavier coverage foundation in the works which may not be too far away. I'd advise ordering a bunch of samples, as they're cheap and some of the colours are a bit unusual. Copyright ? 2006 - 2007 www.thankhealth.com Privacy Policy
