Question:
Thanks for that Going by pics and past experience I thought I'd be #2, but Ggirl also suggested they ran light so I ordered #3 as well, even though it looked quite dark in the pics. It sounds like it was a good idea. I thought Mau would be best, but I'm glad I also got the Siamese and Persian.

The samples are very generous, but I have to say that the colours seem to run very light. I am usually the lightest or 2nd lightest, but in some of these I'm looking at the third one up. The Chausie especially are extremely light and also a little bit pinkish.

Surprisingly the Mau sample they sent for free is quite good (can't usually wear warm colours) but my best match will probably be the Siamese (neutral) in the second lightest colour.

The Bengal (beige undertone) are an odd colour - look kind of pink/gray on me - but the Persian (peach) don't look too bad and aren't excessively peachy.

The foundation is very finely milled and goes on well. It is fairly light coverage, but can be built up easily (can also be mixed with the matching concealer for extra coverage). Apparently the full-size jar is huge and I think is only US$16.95.

I understand that they also have a heavier coverage foundation in the works which may not be too far away.

I'd advise ordering a bunch of samples, as they're cheap and some of the colours are a bit unusual.

I actually have in front of me 6 samples, and none of which look anything like these swatches ... at all! So don't use them as a guideline.

Answer:
Sonia, do you think the formulation is suitable for dry skin?

Answer:
I have very dry skin and it wears well on me. Sonia has uber-dry skin, and if she's bought a full size, then it's promising.

Answer:
To quote a Meow-er, my skin is so dry it makes the desert look moist! It is fine on me in that regard.

Answer:
I wonder what their new primer powder is like ??

Far out, I am SO TEMPTED to order loads of samples. But, I have 5 full EM foundations at home. Aaahahaahah.
Resist, resist, resist ...........

Answer:
What would be the 'finished' difference between using the primer then loose powder, as apposed to using the loose powder then the finishing powder? Does anyone know. I think that maybe my skin would prefer the primer option.

Answer:
Oh I hate when companies add stuff just after I've ordered. I am so obsessed with samples of everything at the moment.

Answer:
Son, I like primers to take some of the moisture and greasiness from sunscreens. Unlike CDLM, sunscreens don't absorb very well on me, and putting minerals over the top leads to the problem you had this morning - cake city. That's why I like primers.

Answer:
G, I know right. Grrr. Why wasn't it up when I ordered on Thursday. If you want to do another order I'll go halvies in the postage with you.
