Your Make Up Disasters
Question:
ok I wanted to post this ages ago when I was still on that probation thing from VFP but now my posts actually show so I wanted to know if anyones had any make up disasters. Mine? I was going over to my bf's for a few days and I decided to just do some laundry but didn't have time to dry it, so I took the whole basket of clothes (wet) to my bfs to use his clothes dryer, and I unknowingly threw my make up bag in with the laundry... and threw all the laundry into the dryer without knowing it was in there.... needless to say all the clothes and make up got ruined that made me so upset for about 2-3 weeks Anyone else got stories they can share? Answer: Remember years ago when those green colour correctors were popular? So, we'd go nightclubbing and our green correctors to conceal facial redness, but after a few dances when the foundation wore off all that was left was green patches on the face, very alien! Answer: My own is when I was about 14 I was going to a disco with a friend and I thought it would be cool to cover up my freckles and no joke applied about 7 layers of foundation......it took my Mum ages to take it off Answer: In 1992 I did the worst fashion/makeup faux pas EVER. I totally humiliated my boyfriend and friends and it is amazing that he married me after that incident! I tried to go 'goth' but I dyed my own clothes - so they turned out charcoal grey - and I wore black eyeliner on my lips - to the Big Day Out which was 38 degrees that day. I melted in that heat. And wearing all that black! It was horrible. Combine that with my warm-toned PPP colouring, I looked so sick and awful, warm-toned people should not go goth even if it were NOT a fashion error! (No offense to goths, it can look great when done well) Answer: 12 years old. Glitter. Answer: Black lipstick Answer: when i was little i had a massive punky brewster obsession. my dad decided to put makeup on me - i.e. freckles, dark eyelashes etc etc so i looked exactly like her. i was all for it, and then i saw myself in the mirror and bawled my eyes out. Answer: Aw I've had heaps: * When I was in H.S my friend and I raided her Mum's beauty cabinet and she had this stuff for your skin that was like a cross between foundation and fake tan. We completely coated our faces in it (it was probably 6 shades too dark for me) for a joke. Then we read that it lasts for 24 hours. I had to go to school looking like a freak, and that stuff lasted waaaay more than 24 hours, despite all the scrubbing I did. * One time I bought this green eyeshadow/glitter tower from a local chemist. I mucked around putting it on in the car while my Mum drove me to work. When I went on my tea break I looked in the mirror and could have cried - I had been serving people for hours looking like a big fat sparkly frog. * Bad foundations matches. Nuff said. * My cousin bought this body glitter stuff, we though we'd look all glamourous and cool putting it all over our faces. We tried washing it off, but glitter sticks to skin like the proverbial to a blanket, so we had to go out to dinner looking like disco balls. Gosh, I could go on and on...but won't. The above is sad enough. Answer: being an asian (mind you with very pale skin)......a little tip from experience is too much bronzer is a not a good look...... Answer: in yr 8 black thick ugly liner, that you can hardly see my eyes. Yuck Copyright ? 2006 - 2007 www.thankhealth.com Privacy Policy
