Everyday Minerals (Free Sample Kit)
Question:
http://www.everydayminerals.com/
Has anyone tried this brand before? I've just ordered my free sample kit (Click Here), although u have to pay for the postage and shipping. You get three sample foundations which come in 5g jars, and you can choose your shades as well as the finish (original glo, semi-matte and matte). You also receive a blush sample of your choice and a concealer sample of your choice (although I opted for a sample of the 'finishing powder' instead)
I am really keen on any reviews people may have The MUA reviews seem promising, although some seem to have the typical 'mineral foundation' complaints (eg. too shiny, not enough coverage, cakey)
Reviews
EDITED TO ADD: I am currently using a Youngblood Mineral Foundation Sample in 'Medium Beige' which I am really enjoying, although I do end up a bit shiny at the end of the day. When I receive my Everyday Minerals Kit I will compare the two

Answer:
ooh i just went on the site then and ordered my free sample, it looks fantastic and the stuff isn't that expensive! i wear mineral make up now but its so expenseive!! can't wait to get it!

Answer:
How much is the postage?

Answer:
I'm paying around $5-6 USD to have mine delivered to sydney via GPS global priority in a small envelope. prices vary on the form of postage you select when you go to the checkout, there is a shipping converter

Answer:
Thats a pretty good shipping price too

Answer:
just wanted to add, make sure you read the foundation colour descriptions on their foundation shade first, dont rely on the swatches from the drop down menu. I was going to buy medium and medium beige, but it turns out medium actually has pink undertones not yellow etc.

Answer:
I just ordered too! The blushes seem so nice.

Answer:
Thanks mezzamy! I just ordered I hope I've ordered the right foundation colours though

Answer:
Just ordered my sample, the foundation in the three lightest colours, the blush in chit chat and the multi tasking concealer. thought it was worth a try for the price

Answer:
This is what I've tried so far:
- fairly light semi-matte foundation. I found it was a good match for my light neutral coloured skin. It feels creamy to apply and builds very well without looking 'powdery'.
- multi-tasking concealer. I actually prefer to use the foundation to conceal (with a small lip brush) instead of the multi-tasking concealer which was too sheer and rubbed off after a few hours - i now use it as an eyeshadow base.
- yellow concealer for dark circles. Works well provided you use eye cream beforehand and a light layer of foundation on top.
I'm now planning to get the finishing dust to aid my shiny t-zone, green concealer and the apple blush. In all good value, and decent quality.
