It may but it damages the skin. You can't necessarily see the damage, but believe me it does. It's extremely harsh: apricot seed chunks.

It really is a miracle how smooth my skin is. I used to use Dermalogica's Microfoliant religiously, but it's going into the bin. I really recommend using her exfoliants!!!!
elektra, what's the difference between the 1% BHA and 2% BHA?
how many samples did you order for 2 wks worth? I want to try it as I've been looking for an exfoliant that works for a while now so either tossing up between the Microfoliant or using PC's AHA/BHA.

But sometimes if I dont use Aapri then my skin feels terrible. If you cant see the damage its doing then what kinda damage does it do??

The 1% Beta Hydroxy Acid Lotion is in a light lotion base that dries to a matte finish and the 2% Beta Hydroxy Acid Lotion is in a creamier base that still feels light on the skin yet also moisturizes. These are best for normal to dry or combination skin types with mild to moderate breakouts and blackheads.
The 1% Beta Hydroxy Acid Gel is a silky water-based gel that is best for those with normal to oily or combination skin prone to blemishes and blackheads. It absorbs quickly and is barely felt on the skin.
The 2% Beta Hydroxy Acid Liquid Solution is a clear liquid that contains a slip agent to enhance the penetration of the salicylic acid, while keeping the skin soft and smooth. It is best for someone with normal to very oily skin with stubborn breakouts or blackheads.

I got this from Paulas's website:
What's the difference between the various 1% and 2% BHA products?

Which BHA should I use?
Use the one that will produce the best results for your skin type. We recommend starting with a 1% BHA concentration before moving to a 2%, unless you have very oily skin and stubborn, persistent breakouts
For me, I had some stubborn blemishes on my cheeks, so I started with the 1% combined with the Blemish Fighting Solution. That combo really helped stop the breakouts (did that for a week). I then switched to using the 2% during the day, and the 8% AHA at night. This combo has made my skin really smooth and I've had absolutely no pimples! I think the 2% gets deep down into the pores. I'm also finding that I don't need to use as much moisturiser, and I don't wake up with dry skin anymore in the mornings. Woohoo!!!
Now that my skin seems to have stabilised, I'm probably going to invest in the 8% AHA and the 1% BHA.
One sachet lasted me for about a week (using day and night). You only need to use a little. So for 2 weeks I would buy 3 sachets to be on the safe side.
HTH!

I have Just Juicy apricot scrub which is very similar to Aapri i think. I personally dont find it harsh or anything. In fact its one I usually end up going back to. Dosent dry my skin out and leaves it really smooth.

This sounds so gross yet so satisfying, I must try!
