I think my dad uses one after shaving to stop the bleeding from any small nicks and cuts. I tried it on my legs once and it stings a little.
I'm pretty sure it was a caustic pencil

Yep, you can get them from chemists. I use it for shaving nicks, doesn't sting me at all

Hey! Yes they are still around at chemists, they are used for getting off warts from your feet, and also for other hard 'things' like corns etc on the feet. It burns a lot so you have to be very careful you dont get good skin. Liquid Nitrogen (done at your doctors clinic) is much better for removing warts though.

Yeah it's for warts!!! I have one on my finger and i put it on and i think all is well but i cannot find information anywhere which is why i was curious if anyone had used it before...i want to know if it drops off itself or if i keep reapplying until it eventually goes away or what..the instructions don't tell me what it is meant to look like. So if anyone knows it'd be good

thanks anatomie, yeah i've seen that site..i'm after a bit more information eg. what it is meant to look like after the first application. I don't want to over-do it or under-do it and it's just a big black dead ugly dot atm and i want it gone!!!!
