i use mine with moisturiser, but i make sure that the moisturiser has completely absorbed first because otherwise the makeup becomes cakey. i've had no problems with the powder coming off my face. im really hopeless when it comes to makeup too, but this stuff is pretty much foolproof provided you only use the tinest amount! start off with a microscopic amount, and dust it all over your face. if you need more coverage, add another thin layer. it's funny because it ends up giving great coverage but yet as a powder, it doesnt give a powdery appearance. this is a mineral foundation that is meant to require buffing however i dont feel the need as i only apply a sheer amount and any buffing makes my skin look flakey. it'll take a bit of patience but it really does become very easy and i now consider it to be less of a hassle than liquid foundation good luck!

Answer:
ohh i just got my sample yesterday! this stuff is fantastic, looks so natural and the colour matches perfectly! (lucky i ordered 3 different ones!!) definately recommend, il definately get the starter kit!!

Answer:
I ordered the free samples. This is my last try at mineral makeup! I have some BE samples, its okay but it looked cakey in a few spots where it seems to catch in dry flakes.
I wish now id ordered a matte sample though, I only got the semimatte.Has anyone tried both and can give a comparison?

Answer:
Got mine today!
Tried on med-beige foundation in semi matte. This stuff is gooood (the texture is similar to Stila IPF when you rub the powder on your finger tip and both have that nice glowy tinge to them, but I think IPF is just a tad bit finer). I've had it on for about 5 hrs now, my skin is a bit shiny around the T zone (I have combo skin ). Will try the matte one later!

I applied with my TBS powder brush
You don't apply minerals over foundation - they are the foundation. If you need more coverage you apply a light layer, wait a minute then apply another light one.
If you use moisturiser underneath, you wait 5-10 mins. to give in a chance to sink in properly.

Answer:
Hmm, this looks good! I think I might order the sample kit soon.

Answer:
ok, I'm going to post a before & after. My skin isn't normally as bad as it has been the past few weeks, I've been really upset about it because it's been playing up really badly & foundation was just making it worse - I got my sample kit a few days ago & here's the result
