Answer:
Fluid Foundation: shu uemura water in foundation
Shade: #775
coverage: sheer
price: $50AUD (available in asia)
type of finish: sheer semi-matte without looking powdery
recommended skin type: combo-dry to combo-oily
whether i like it: Yes, very comfortable, blends easily, totally natural yet polished look.

Fluid Foundation: Armani LSF
Shade: #4
coverage: medium
price: $80AUD or thereabouts in sydney
type of finish: dewy velvet
recommended skin type: dry to average combo skin
whether i like it: unsure, still feels a tad heavy/thick on the skin. Does add a glow though.

Fluid Foundation: Dior diorskin eclat satin(moisture release satin makeup) note they also make one for combo to combo oily skin. This one is for drier skin.
Shade: #200 (wish they had a little less yellow undertone in it)
coverage: sheer to medium. Not really buildable to more without looking cakey
price: $65AUD or thereabouts in asia
type of finish: slightly dewy, velvety satiny finish
recommended skin type: dry to average combo skin
whether i like it: unsure, it's not as thick as armani LSF but still gives a glowy finish. But doesn't wear terribly well enough (doesn't look as satiny by end of day).

Creme to powder Foundation: mirenesse emulsion pact
Shade: vienna silk (2nd lightest shade). But a tad yellow at times.
coverage: buildable sheer to medium-heavy.
price: refillable for about $36 on adorebeauty. compact extra
type of finish: creme to powdery finish, not as powdery as normal powder compact foundations.
recommended skin type: not too dry unless u wear a primer, up to oily.
whether i like it: maybe, for its quickness in application, also doubles as a concealer. Can apply to areas needed coverage and still look natural.

tinted moisturiser: YSL teint de jour (tint matte moisturiser)
Shade: #1 (appears orange in the bottle but once on the skin, just right shade)
coverage: sheer to medium
price: $56 from sydney.
type of finish: semi-matte, wears to an even slightly dewy finish. Don't exercise in this though since it seems to oxidize with body heat.
recommended skin type: combo-dry to oily.
whether i like it: yes, sometimes it looks so polished and glowy. Not too good for very hot/humid weather though.

tinted moisturiser: clarins hydra balance tinted moisturiser spf6
Shade: #10 bisque
coverage: buildable sheer to medium
price: RRP$52
type of finish: dewy
recommended skin type: combo-dry to combo
whether i like it: yes, it seems to have additional calming properties on my blotchy skin days. A bit heavy for summer, but covers as well as a lot of foundations yet natural.

powder compact foundation: lancome maquiwhite compact (powder foundation)
Shade: #15 (it's a pretty "white" shade even though it looks typical foundation beige in compact, i need a little bit more yellowtone in this powder. but wearable if applied sheerly with 1 or 2 layers)
coverage: buildable sheer to medium
price: RRP$60AUD in asia?
type of finish: applied dry: sheer to medium, matte, wears well to natural semi-matte finish.
recommended skin type: combo-dry to combo-oily
whether i like it: yes, so quick for applications with just a dry sponge, adheres well to the skin with a very thin layer to even out skintone, buildable to slightly heavier coverage. Finely milled powder, never looks too powdery unless heavily handed.

Answer:
Name: Clinique Superbalanced
coverage: medium
price: $47
type of finish: matte
recommended skin type: normal-oily
n whether u like it? yes I like it, works better for me once it started 'buffing' (thanks vogue forum) my powder in to set, instead of just quickly brushing on, what was I doing?! Lasts pretty well, is my new 'winter' foundation.
Shade: not sure off the top of my head.

Answer:
MAC Face & Body (liquid)
coverage: sheer but buildable
price: AU$59
type of finish: sheer, slightly dewy
recommended skin type: normal to combination (not oil free)
n whether u like it? Yes! Looks great in photos, but needs to be powdered down. Also - very short shelf life as it tends to go off quickly.
RCMA (cream)
coverage: full - this has 55% pigment, or mix with RCMA thinner to make liquid foundation
price: AU$55 or US$20 (+$10 shipping) from Camerreadycosmetics.com
type of finish: matte (dewy if thinner is used)
recommended skin type: normal. combination - not for very dry or very oily
n whether u like it? Yes - superb coverage but can look dry on some skin types.
Lancome Transparence (liquid)
coverage: sheer
price:
type of finish: slightly dewy, natural
recommended skin type: normal, combination, oily
n whether u like it? Love this. Closest of the 3 to my HG. Sets without powder. Great for everyday.

Answer:
Chanel Teinte Fluid Foundation
Coverage: medium
Price: AUD$ ??? (got mine on ebay for AUD$20 incl. shipping)
Type of finish: semi-matte
Recommended skin type: Combination

Chanel Vitalumiere Creme #50 Naturel
Coverage: light but buildable
Price: AUD$80-90 approx.
Type of finish: semi-matte
Recommended skin type: Dry. My skin is LOVING this at the moment. It's quite expensive but every time I wear it I get compliments galore.

MAC Studio Tech #NC30
Coverage: medium to full
Price: AUD$55 approx.
Type of finish: matte
Recommended skin type: All skin types. This is one of my favourites. My skin looks flawless with this on but I probably wouldn't recommend if you're prone to break-outs - it has emollients in it.

Answer:
great thread!
Armani Luminous Silk Foundation
Shade: #6.5 (which is actually too light for me...i powder over it to get the right colour - wrong i know! )
Coverage: can be light, but it's very buildable so medium is a better description...
Price: $80ish
Type of finish: dewy, truly "luminous"
Recommended skin type: all, except maybe very dry or very oily skin types
Whether I like it: it!! my HG, i just wish it wasn't so expensive. gives great coverage while still maintaining a dewy finish, i've never found another foundation like it
Stila Illuminating Foundation (Liquid)
Shade: 70 watts
Coverage: light
Price: $88
Type of finish: dewy
Recommended skin type: normal
Whether I like it: yes, but i only wear foundation when i'm going out at night & this doesnt give enough coverage. I have tried it during the day though, and received compliments because I think the dewiness made me look very fresh etc. But, it becomes quite oily on my skin and I still find it a bit too 'sparkly' for day wear...

Answer:
name: Revlon Skinlights Diffusing Tint makeup in Ivory (I think)
coverage: medium
price: $30-ish
type of finish: subtly glowy, does not accentuate flakes, does an ok job at hiding pores
recommended skin type: normal - combination
u like it? Love this! Wear it almost every day. The only thing I'd change is the packaging - the pump continually clogs.

name: Innoxa Satin Sheet Makeup SPF 30 (I think) in Buttermilk?
coverage: light
price: $25-ish
type of finish: a creamy style makeup in a tube. Applies reasonably well but not as smooth as I thought it would be. I expected it to be a little more like a tinted moisturiser. Unfortunately does not work well with an oily t-zone, and it looks patchy after about 4 hours.
recommended skin type: normal-dry
u like it? no. Won't repurchase

name: Covergirl Aquasmooth Makeup in Ivory
coverage: medium-full
price: $25?
type of finish: I apply this with my fingers a lot more than the supplied sponge. Smooths on very easily and allows for a fair bit of blending before it sets. This is the best one for taking care of redness on my skin. Does a good job at minimising pores too. The only problem is it's staying power. I find it is starting to melt after about 5 hours.
recommended skin type: dry-normal-combination
u like it? I do! I keep this one for occasions when I want some good coverage.

name: Covergirl Fresh Complexion Pocket Powder in Ivory (I think)
coverage: medium
price: $15-ish
type of finish: this is a powder makeup but it provides pretty decent coverage. It's so quick to put on because it is a one-step makeup application process. It suits oilier skintypes. Remember to clean the sponge regularly, so it stays hygeinic. Cute packaging.
recommended skin type: oily-combination
u like it? I did! This is one of the few makeup products I finished. I would purchase again.

EDITED - NEW REVIEWS!
name: Diorsnow Whitening Powder in 01
coverage: medium
price: $45-ish on SNet
type of finish: powdery and polished. This is a powder foundation in a nice white compact. The sponge is conveniently stored in a separate compartment. This applies beautifully over my cheeks and forehead, not so well on my nose. This is because I have pores and Diorsnow seems to accentuate them. Tried it with a brush to no avail. I will have to experiment with primer - this may work.... In addition, this is a tad pale on my PPP-LLL skin.
recommended skin type: normal-oily, finely textured skin with no big pores
u like it? sadly, this left me disappointed. If I don't get this to work with primer, it will end up in my makeup graveyard.
name: Face of Australia Powder Perfect
coverage: light
price: less than $15
type of finish: satiny. This applies nicely on bare skin. If you're a primer fan, you need to be careful what you prime with. It doesn't work too well with Clarins BFB - you get a bit of balling happening. Unlike some cream to powder products, this is quite tolerant of flakies and pores. Will give a nice polished finish. A dusting of powder on top is optional. Packaging is a classy looking plastic tube - ideal for travel!
recommended skin type: normal, slightly-dry, combination
u like it? it's not too bad. It's definitely on standby!
name: Face of Australia Sheer Coverage liquid foundation (glass bottle) - Outback Ivory
coverage: light
price: $6
type of finish: this gives a nice dewy finish. I was really surprised at how good this was for such a cheap product! I am seriously using this every day at the moment. I prime with Baby Pink T-Zone Cover and apply this over the top and my skin looks even and dewy but not greasy! I dust my t-zone with a little powder and I'm good to go. I must say, I do like a liquid foundation for the natural finish it gives. The staying power of this is decent. I get the best part of a work-day out of it if I wear primer. If I don't wear primer, it wears off maybe an hour sooner. Loving the SPF in it too.
recommended skin type: normal, combination
u like it? I really love it. A daily staple. 5 stars!

Answer:
name: Chanel Double Perfection Compact # 60 Secret
coverage: buildable, great coverage
price: $64
type of finish: matte powder foundation
recommended skin type: combo/oily, def not dry
whether u like it? MY HG i use it for everyday, plus night time, but it may be a bit too heavy for some ppl, as i have acne scars, I need heavy makeup to cover, but it is buildable, so can be more sheer, just depends how you apply it.
Also--Comes in a beautiful big black compact with CC logo
