Hard Wax
Question:
Has anyone used the hard wax product from the Nair or Julianne (sp?) range ??? If so, how did you find it? Are either as good as what is used by salons? Answer: I have used every single wax under the sun (as i am a bit of a hair-o-phobe). My favourite is the Julienne Hard Wax, and your don't even need strips!! It is gentle to use on the face, yet storng enought to do the bikini line. I even do my own brazillian with it!! I have never had any irritation with it, unlike "Veet" products... It also works really well on short hairs. Just follow the directions on the pack carfeully. Answer: I've just tried Andrea's Hard Wax and it is brilliant. I did my own Brazilian by myself without any mess or fuss. I think I might have to dump my beauty therapist affer discovering this stuff. Answer: I must be an idiot. I cannot use hard wax on myself and everytime I try it gets caught in the hair 'down there' and hardens and I spend the next few hours cutting it out Answer: I use Andrea's hard wax too, and find it really good. I just keep thinking about the money I save from not having to py someone else to rip out my hair! Answer: Nair Andrea and Julienne are fine. Also have had great results from Waxaway Salon Wax Answer: Originally Posted by sashmanash I must be an idiot. But instead of cutting it out, I just hold the hair by the ends and rip it out. I have to be ruthless when it comes to waxing or else I'll never work up the nerve to get it off. Answer: nair salon divine sensitive. Answer: I tried the Julianne Hard Wax once. Before I start ... I'm not a noob waxer, I did professional waxing and I wax myself regularly (well, when I need it ) ... Anyway ... I followed the instructions and heated the tub in the microwave. As I carefully pulled it out, I must have had dodgey packaging because the wax melted through the bottom of the container, onto my fave Bonds pj pants (RIP ), proceeded to fall onto my foot and all over my kitchen floor. Ok, so I freaked out about getting 3rd degree burns and kind of threw the tub away from my skin But still ... I ended up with a nasty burn on my foot and hard wax stuck to me, my pj pants, and my kitchen floor. And I have delt with many different types of wax to know what to do and how to be careful. So from that moment, I swore I'd never buy Julianne products again Answer: Originally Posted by Eevee I've just tried Andrea's Hard Wax and it is brilliant.
