Dead Sea Masks
Question:
I was at the Sydney Easter show today and bought a Dead Sea Mud Mask from one of the stands.
But I've no idea why Dead Sea products are so good. Not really sure how to be positive that this product really comes from the Dead Sea either.
So I want to know of people's experiences with products containing mud from the Dead Sea, how much I should expect to pay for a tub of the mud and why it's so good.
thanks

Answer:
I love, love, love, love, love Dead Sea skincare! They're pretty expensive though so I don't use them that regularly.
My skin completely clears up whenever I use it though!

Answer:
I buy my deadsea mud from newdirections 100g for $8 excluding GST.
It smells gross but when you wash it off your skin feels fantastic, great stuff.

Answer:
It does smell pretty bad - I washed it off my skin after using it on Monday and I kept smelling it underneath my nose.
I can't say I noticed a spectacular difference in my skin though
Thanks for the site akazie.....$8.80 is pretty cheap.
I bought mine for $15 for 100g at the Easter show but they say it normally costs $20 exc. shipping
Did you guys notice an immediate difference? Or was it after a few months of usage?

Answer:
Cool I wanna try

I could feel a difference in my skin after the first application.

Answer:
I didn't know you could buy the mud and use it directly on your skin....hehe...I've only ever seen products that contain Dead Sea mud, I'm using a cleanser and exfoliator containing mud/minerals at the moment....must do further investigation, thanks!!

Answer:
The waters of the Dead Sea contain the highest concentration of minerals in the world - an astounding 32%. Far from reflecting its name, the Dead Sea thrives with life. It is located on the lowest point on the planet - 410 meters below sea level - and provides the highest level of skin-related healthcare. The climate is dry and the sands of the desert engulfing it are parched, and yet it produces the greatest abundance of moisture-retaining minerals on Earth.
I supply Ahava skincare (which is the only cosmetics company indigenous to the region) - and I love the feel of Dead Sea Mud products. There are many Dead Sea companies out there - and most are pretty good - so I don't want to come across as "spamming" or trying to promote Ahava... so please don't take it this way.
Ahava have facial mud masks - which feel tingly/active on the face and really get the skin stimulated. And we have sachets of pure Dead Sea Mud that you can apply to your body. It's great for dry skin conditions like excema, psiorisis etc... also detoxing. A friend of mine applys the mud, then wraps herself in clingwrap and drops a few cm's instantly (only tempporary though!!).
We have samples of the face masks - but unfortunately not the body mud. PM me if you would like a sample.

Hi jodie! I've been using some Ahava for the last few months!!!!! It's so great to find someone who uses it too! (well promotes it anyway).
I'm using the Mud Exfoliator and the Cream Cleanser and I think it's great! It doesn't do any wonders but my skin used to be dehydrated and oily at the same time and this in turn caused congestion. Now, I'm less dehydrated, probably still as oily but my skin feels smoother and clearer. I was using products too harsh for my skin and Ahava appears to have normalised it somewhat.

Answer:
Good to hear Becks! And I do use the products too! I use the Time Line range (older skin - cough)... and the exfoliator. Doesn't that feel awesome. Thats my favorite product!!
