Question:
Oh God. Chopping my hair off whilst on holiday. I had long hair (halfway down my arm), it was really hot and I just thought "stuff it" and I got my hair cut really short. With my thick hair it look terrible! I want to destroy all photographic evidence of it!! Thankfully, it was when I was in Year 7, so hopefully no one remembers...
Now, my hair is back to being long and layered - I have curbed the spontaneity that made me cut it in the first place!

I don't know if this counts as a "beauty blunder" but ....
Way back when I was 15 I tried to pierce my own nose while my parents were out.
I was armed in my room with a pin and ice and it wasn't pretty. By the time mum came home, I'd almost gotten all the way through ... but she went ballistic, as any mother would I suppose.
Took a while for the nasty hole to heal on my nose. Thankfully, there is no sign of it now.

Bought a packet dye from the supermarket that promised blonde hair in ONE go (no matter what your hair colour was). My sister put it on my head and left in on for 2 1/2 hours. My black hair turned orange with white blonde roots.. THEN FELL OUT IN THE SHOWER WHEN I WASHED IT!! Not kidding.. I went partially bald to an interview the next day!
Oh my god! You left bleach on for 2.5 hours?! I'm surprised you didn't go completely bald! Isn't the absolute maximum time 45 mins? Woah. Sorry for my reaction, I've had waaaay too many bleaching disasters and I know how damaging bleach can be!

Answer:
I brushed my hair with a curler untill it got tangled real bad near the roots and I had to cut a huge chunk of my hair to get the curler out.
Slapped large amount of hot wax that covered most of my arm and yanked the wax all at once when it was cool. Patches of skin came off. ouch.

I was only young and didn't know better. Yeah i think the maximum is something like 45mins too. I don't let just anyone touch my hair anymore.

And i also did the overplucking eyebrow things, found mums tweezers and just kept plucking and plucking...
i hardly ever pluck myself now just always get it shaped or tidied by my BT but still to this day they have never completley grown back and are still uneven
