Question:
i got the Napolean tan enhancer (my lovely receptionist recommended it) - you're supposed to use it after the spray tan but i'm just using it on its own and getting great results - no orange at all or streaks it's $35 for a bit tub Answer: my normal colour http://au.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/nik...31.jpg&.src=ph HEre are my after pics of a few of the tans http://au.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/nik...lbum?.dir=1a98 Tanline Spray Tan around $35 for a huge can Pros dark dark colour easy spray application easy on skin with problems (like exzema) fades, not patches cheap for the amount you get Con's: I use to love the dark dark colour, but i am getting older now and like a lighter tan thats about it, it really is a great product. Face of Australia Bronzing gel $7.95 for a 150ml tube, should get 3 full bodys or up to 8 leg only tans PROS: the PRICE! easy to apply, but please use gloves Colour Guide Meduim colour tan Cons: Alot comes off with first wash hard to wash off hands takes alot to rub it into the skin to ensure even coverage. Sportsgirl Bronzing Mouse ($4.95 on sale for 150ml) PROS: CHEAP colour guide nice subtle colour Can streak with you dont put alot into your pre tan application CONS: a little orange if you do 2 coats takes a while to work into the skin I dont think they have it instoreany more Magic Tan Spray Booth salon tan Pros: the more faultless full body tan ever nice even colour and you can choose the colour level lasts about 7 days Cons: the cost ($40 each time) the smell, it smells so much!! HEre are my after pics of a few of the tans http://au.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/nik...lbum?.dir=1a98 Answer: Where do you get Tanline from? Answer: Priceline has it or check the website it might say in there www.tanline.com.au Answer: Thanks, it sounds great! Answer: m00fie: thanks so much for putting up the before/after pics... Tanline makes u go sooooooooo dark! I have used Face of Australia with similar results, however, can't stand the smell the next morning and also had to use gloves!!! And the best part is, that if it doesn't work on you, it only cost $7.95 Answer: m00fie tanline looks great on you, but it's really wierd because when I used tanline it did absolutely nothing. I left it on overnight so it had plennnnnnty of time to work before I washed it off.. but nope, the colour guide washed off completely and left me still white. Other negatives of this product is that (on me anyway) it didn't dry so I was left feeling really sticky & it got all over my sheets. plus the sprays are difficult to cleanup since the spray goes over the floor. So unfortunately for me, absolutely no pros and lots of cons. St Tropez mousse. Pros Easy to apply Dries pretty quick so can dress and go, although I still prefer to just put it on overnight Lovely brown colour; no orange http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l2...11-06_1109.jpg This is after 3 days (excuse my pyjamas ) I'm naturally fairly pale Cons not cheap! (although I find a bottle last ages) I find it a bit drying on my already-dry skin. I've been slathering on the Garnier summer body lotion to keep my 'tan' smooth for as long as possible though. St Tropez Lotion Pros Same nice brown colour. Most people say the lotion goes darker on them than the mousse but I actually get darker with the mousse since I can apply heaps of layers whereas the lotion goes into little balls if I try to layer it too much Cons Cost factor Bottle doesn't last me as many applications as the mousse Messy Nivea sun (dark) Pros Lovely and moisturising Cheaper than st tropez (around $18-19 I think?) Works pretty quickly No colour guide - this is a pro for me because my boyfriend teases me when have i have colourguide on (he alternates between calling me 'a native' or 'a poo'.. *sigh* maturity, anyone? He thinks he's hilarious) Plus colour guides can leave brown marks if I lean against something Colour gets deep with several applications Cons For some people, not having a colour guide is a bad thing since they can't tell where they've put it Colour is a little bit orange after too many applications (but not too bad really) Ella Bache Pros ....I've seen it look great on my friend!!! Cons This one is wierd on me as well... it does absolutely nothing. I put it on in the same way as St Tropez lotion but when I wash it off it hasn't left any colour whatsoever (except for once I had beautiful tanned hands and feet but the rest of me was white)..... WHATS GOING ON HERE?! Neutrogena mist Pros Dries quick pleasant smell Cons Gets a bit orange after more than one application, but the colour of only one application is very light so multiple applications are necessary... FOA lotion Pros Cheap Cons Fooled me into thinking I had found a St Tropez replacement, because the colour guide is a lovely brown colour Unlike St Tropez, where the colour guide sets streaky but then washes off to show an even, non-streaky tan, the streaks of the colour guide of FOA stayed there. Doesn't last/fade well.. I got lizard skin almost immediately ModelCo Pros Great colour of the colour guide Easy to get the colour guide nice and even I've used this as an all-over bronzer Smells quite nice Cons Once I washed the colour guide off I wasn't left with all that much colour Might need a couple of applications to build colour up? Sprays are always messy to cleanup Answer: ^^ Agree w/ the St Tropez's and the Nivea Sun Dark. I use both. Love the mousse, but they must have a new formula because it doesnt go as dark as it used to. The lotion is messy & balls if you use too much. The Nivea Sun does go orange after 3 coats. 2 is good for a goldeny tan. I love the Nivea Sun Touch Face tanner. My new is Le Tan in Le Can in Deep Bronze Glow Pros: * Can see where it applies. * Fast to apply because it is a spray. * Cheap. $17 * The smell is delicious. Smells like vanilla/ cookies. * Lasts for ages. * Only need one coat where other tanners would need two for the same effect. Cons: * Can be harder to apply b/c it is a spray. Hard to get to tricky areas. * Nozzle drippage if you spray for too long. * Lasts for ages. This is a bad thing too if you want to exfo it off and reapply in time for the next weekend. I find it really hard to get off. * Brown boogers from inhaling tan. Make sure you spray in a well ventilated area! Not my bathroom that has no windows. Anyone know where in Brisbane does the Vani-T tan and how dark is the super dark one? Like Oprah dark or J.Lo dark? Or anyone? Answer: JLo dark The normal is like a QLD, Gold Coast type tan The dark one is like a mediterranean type tan Answer: haha.. im from qld.. brisbane in fact not far from the gold coast, and i aint got no gold coast tan!!
