Retinol as moisteriser?
Question:
I am looking at purchasing a new moisteriser and am keen to start giving retinol a shot. Does/has anyone substituted their nightly moisteriser for retinol? Answer: I use paulas choice antioxidant mattifying stuff at night which has retinol in it. Definetly makes my skin smooth and feels "nourished" doesnt do ANYTHING to mattify though. a bit ot but hope it helps! Answer: I totally reccomend Neutrogena healthy skin anti-wrinkle cream (i just bought some from the supermarket ,20 minutes ago lol).I use it as my night moisturiser but you could def use it in the saytime as well ...as long as you are wearing sunscreen Answer: ive heard about neutrogena healthy skin, but aparently u cant get it here in aus anymore? sorry to hijack! Answer: No, you can't get it here..... I used to use it a few years back, and it was great....don't understand why they've made it unavailable here Answer: Rhania have you checked out the Roc products in priceline yet? They are very popular in France and have a retinol night cream. Answer: Oh what the hell !!! i love this i am going to have to stock up before i move over ....as if i dont already have enough beauty products to cart over gggrrr Answer: Skinceuticals Retinol. Comes in .5% and 1%. It's not a moisturiser as such, but it's a great product. http://www.skinceuticals.com/product...4&productID=53 Answer: Avene Ystheal would be a good place to start with retinol. It is less irritating than a lot of products that contain retinol. Answer: oh thanks guys! Yep I've been looking at skinceuticals in depth (mostly cause I love their other products), but I'm just worried about retinol drying my skin out too much. I've tried Avene in the past and it broke me out (not the Ystheal), I used the Cleanance K. I'm worried about forking out $$ for the ystheal and having it break me out too! ROC sounds promising - I will def check it out next time I am in priceline. Copyright ? 2006 - 2007 www.thankhealth.com Privacy Policy
