Perfume for Work - Page 2
Question:
I really like either Chanel Chance or Hei Poa Tiare for work.

Answer:
The new Chanel Chance Eau Fraiche is lovely.

Answer:
My (new) boss is an asthmatic and if someone wears overpowering perfume/aftershave, it can trigger an attack. One of my male colleagues was given a stern reminder about this the other day actually when he reapplied Lynx after coming back from lunch.
So I am always mindful of her asthma condition when applying fragrance each morning, and try not to reapply throughout the day even when I can't smell it anymore.
The less potent ones I most often choose for work days are -
- Miss Dior Cherie
- YSL Baby Doll
- The Body Shop Cassia Rose

Answer:
Light Blue DG is also quite light and nice!

Answer:
midnight fantasy s really beautiful on the skin.

Answer:
Chanel Chance is good but one spray is definitely enough! I also like Burberry London.
Eeek a coworker wears a Tommy Hilfiger one and I think she must BATHE in it, it is soooo strong. Seriously I can smell her coming before I actually see her. And it's a floral which I HATE. Aaaah I want to say something but I can't

A former boss of mine wore YSL Paris every day which is quite potent, but fortunately she didn't reek of the stuff.
Do you have a HR dept in your workplace? Maybe go and see someone about it since it's affecting you so much.

I find it interesting how different perfumes affect people, I am probably more partial to floral perfumes and and greens such as Miss Dior, but detest orientals and musky scents, particularly ones with sandalwood.
Like a lot of people, my sister does not like floral perfumes, she thinks they smell óld lady' and likes fruity/woody/musky perfumes like Miss Dior Cherie etc.
Someone should do a study on how people come to like the sort of perfume they like and how it affects their sense of smell when smelling one they don't.

I just hate the Lynx aerosols. All of them have an unpleasent smell. At my school, about 70% of the class has some sort of spray on deodorant. Must be some sort of trend considering that roll on lasts longer than spray ons. At least one person would spray the stuff in the middle of class and the smell would permeate the room to the extent that I would have to help myself and open up all the windows even though I'd get in hot water for standing up without the teacher's permission. Some of my classmates do bring perfume which is not a bad thing but they spray it all over the place (such as 5+ sprays in one particular area) and so I'd have to do the same thing and open up all the windows.
