Blonde Hair - Shampoo, Conditioner, Toner - Page 6
Question:
Thats great thanks Hmmm my hair is very dry does this mean it is porous? I dont actually have any brassy bits in my hair that i can see i just thought that it might brighten my colour up a bit before going on my hols!! It wont actaully change my colour will it???....just brighten it up a it??.. Really sorry for all the questions but i really am this clueless!! I just purchased Kerastase Masquintense as well and thought id give it a shot at the weekend, was planning on using it after the toner! I bet your hair is gorgeous Miffny Answer: Thanks Miffny and Poppysoir! This sticky has been so helpful. I got some of the Goldwell 10 P toner today. When I use it I'm going to mix the 10 P and 10 V together like everyone suggested & i'll let everyone know how it goes I'm still trying to track down the L'Oreal Blondissima though, hopefully Hairhouse warehouse has it. However, if i can't find it, does anyone know of a similar product to use that does just as good a job? Answer: I just got some of the 10V and 10P too Do you just apply equal parts and mix them together and then put on your head? Also miffny, I think my hair might be porous but i dont have that product you suggested, will it be ok to do the 10P and 10V straight on my hair or do you think I should wait till I get that product?? Thanks Answer: Originally Posted by Brazen I've just bought the special blonde shampoo and conditioner from L'Oreal, so we'll see how that goes. Answer: Brazen, i remember reading a thread ages ago about people having the same problem as you. I think you are better using a normal shampoo and conditioner and using a toner. chic_chic if your hair is quite damaged, i suggest you get the product miffny mentioned, otherwise just apply the toner as per the instructions. Answer: thanks poppysoir also, how often is it best to tone? Answer: I am happy with the Redken Blonde Glam shampoo too, although I still use the L'Oreal Shine Blonde shampoo once a week as it's violet and really helps to keep the brassiness at bay. Answer: Originally Posted by chic_chic thanks poppysoir also, how often is it best to tone? only tone when you notice your hair getting brassy or if you are a really light blonde then i would say you would need to do it more often to keep it bright. the goldwell seems to last around 4 weeks in my hair now. re: redken glam blonde. i like that it makes my hair soft and smell great but i find it too shiny. i get foils not a tint and i find it picks out the foils and makes them shine more than the rest of my hair i prefer an all over shine that i get from all soft or mastey. Answer: I always suggest porosity spray before any colour even toning as blonde hair is always a bit porous. I have to say I never use shampoo nor conditioners amied at 'Blondes' because apart from extra conditioning agents I think they are a rip off. Just MO . Answer: Just a quick recommendation: PPS Double Fixx for Blondes, instant treatment for blonde damaged hair is amazing! I have plantinum and ash blonde hair and regularly use Goldwell toner in 10V and intensive masks eg. by kerastase but decided to try the PPS treatment from Price Attack the other day. It is a leave in treatment, costs $11 and you get two treatments from one bottle. The result is fantastic, honestly I can't recommend it enough! My hair is not brassy at all and is so nice and soft Copyright ? 2006 - 2007 www.thankhealth.com Privacy Policy
