Do you mean L'Oreal, Maybelline etc??? The deal with them is they have started sourcing again from others who test, or get other companies to do the testing for them- so they may not test the finished products, but the ingredients etc are tested. These 'big' ones are on all accepted lists

Asfor throwing things out, I'm personally of the opinion that doesn't help anyone. Why don't you instead just stop buying those brands, and when you replace items buy animal friendly brands. Although there may be some things that you'd never use up you may decide to get rid of...
