I've used it on the odd occassion where I have had some dandruff. It got rid of it in 1-2 washes. It smells strongly, but my god it worked well for me.

i might give it a try... after i switched to Dove shampoo started getting heaps of dandruff >< gonna go back to my old shampoo for sure after trying Nizoral!!

They make this in a 1% and 2%. Does anyone know if they sell the 2% over the counter in chemists in Australia?

Yes they sell the 2% over the counter my boy uses it, after a rec. from the doctor, and it COMPLETELY cured his dandruff. Cheap too, maybe $12, and it hasn't aggrevated his sensitive skin

ah really. apparently it helps guys with slightly thinning hair regrow their hair too! believe it or not...

i used it for psorisis (sp) or dermatitis on my scalp and it completely cured it. If I ever get a really itchy scalp feeling I just use it once and it goes away, I think it's pretty amazing.
