Stylin' short hair
Question:
So I recently cut my hair short - very choppy layers, that can easily be styled by scrunching hair here and there. But I was thinking, how else can I style my hair (instead of the bed head look everyday)? I found this pic LINK and while I don't think I could pull it off as well as the model, it'd be a funky style to try. Any ideas on how to actually get the fringe to stay up? Coz doesn't gel/wax just flop after a few hours? How do you style your short hair? Answer: lots of hairspray, styling gel, and wax darling! when mine was short i also used to slick it down to the sides for a side part and curl little bits over my ears, kind of like girly sideburns. this was a few years ago now though so it's probably a daggy look now. hmmm Answer: I have quite thick hair (the actual strands) so it's quite easy for me to achieve some lovely vertical styles.. I tend to straighten dry in the basic directions I want.. then use product sparingly to lock it in.. I'm a chronic hair messer so can't handle hair spray Answer: Plenty of wax, gel and hairspray. But now I'm into a softer look so after my shower I brush it straight..poof the top a bit, then add some wax to the ends to wisp them out abit and kind of push all my hair forward..I have a blunt straight fringe so this look is better then the crazy bedhead look I used to go for. To get your fringe to stay up like in the pic..apparently use gel but dont put it in the roots or it will flop later on then spray with hair spray. On a site it said to use glue if your game . Edit..I just realised that that all makes no sense so I'll try and find a pic.Pretty much like the hair in this link. http://www.ukhairdressers.com/style/...yl1=Haringtons Copyright ? 2006 - 2007 www.thankhealth.com Privacy Policy
