How to do a Killer Pony Tail - Page 5
Question:
Oh, my first post didn't work it seems, con sarn it. I said basically my hair is in layers so ponies look a bit limp, thin and scraggly cause the layers aren't long enough to go in it, or else they're just fitting in but they come out all spiky cause they're too short, so it looks sort of dumb, having spikiness at the "front" of the pony, and then the rest of the longer hair. Blegh. Answer: I wear mine very low and on one side of my head. It works nicely with a sweeping side fringe (to the opposite side) and my naturally wavy hair sits nicely and forms big fat curls over my shoulder. Answer: the other day I sectioned off the top part of my hair with a clip and then put the rest of my hair into a pony. Then I parted the top bit into 2 halves - I twisted both sections around the pony and secured with bobby pins. Looked pretty cool! Answer: Postioning is important, too! Too low isn't very flattering, too high and you look like a cheerleader.....about ear level is just right. My hair is layered and wavy, and looks really good in a pony - the tail kind of flicks out and sits in an 'S' shape . I also like to have a little volume at the crown area - a little 60's vibe happening! Just play around and see what works for your hair Copyright ? 2006 - 2007 www.thankhealth.com Privacy Policy
