Fudge paintbox ??
Question:
hi guys, i just want to make sure that the fudge paintbox does not ruin my hair...
i have my hair permanent straighten and wonder if i could use the fudge paintbox on my hair.. will this ruin my hair??? have anyone try this? any opinions and advice? like how to use? and how long will it last? i read from the site that it last for 3 to 30 washes?
i was aiming to try something new with my hair and dont want to dye my hair... just experiment with it with different colours each week since i have dull black asain hair and want something outrageous

Answer:
the colours probly wouldnt even show up on your hair if its black, you really need to bleach it to almost white for fudge colurs to turn out good
but aside from that it should not damage it

Answer:
as libertinegirl said.. your hair has to be either naturally light blonde or you have to bleach it to white.. i found that when using paintbox.. the colours don't turn out as well as it shows on the samples hairs.. so i prefer wakk fudge and as for how many washes it lasts, usually for me, if i want to maintain the initial colour i have to redo it every 2nd-3rd wash... otherwise it takes AGES.. ie few month for it to wash out to white again..HTH

Answer:
thanks... so it works best with bleached hair??? but the thing is i want it to last for a day.. not a week.. just a bit of pink on this day and blue the next.. however, will the colour last for the whole day or will fade? i remember a girl in my school using vibrant fudge red and it lasts for a day. she told me that she have to use alot of that thing to make it stay vibrant the whole day...

Answer:
i just read from other thread that fudge is not that good... any other recommendation?

Answer:
what bleach kit should i get? is it better to do it at home or at hairdresser?

Answer:
It will last for a while. I'm a mid blonde and it can stay a couple of weeks in my hair.

Answer:
It won't show at all if your hair is naturally black. The best colour that would come up would be the red, and still you have to standing under light to be able to see it. Otherwise, it will just appear black in dull light or in photos.

Answer:
I have black hair and once I bought one of those wella one wash vibrant mousse pumps and you can really see them. They look sort of tacky though - like you've painted your hair -very bright and just sort of sits on your hair as opposed to sinking in, so it's more for novelty...

Answer:
i have black hair and tried the cherry bomb colour a few yrs ago
it didnt show up at all
but my pillow case was purple for a few days
