Answer: Name : chanel teint compact creme universel spf 15 shade: 20 clair coverage: medium, can be built to heavy coverage price $95 Finish : natural skin type: probably all skin types. its a creme compact and isn't a matte finish so would suit dryer skin. i personally have combo skin and it alwasy stays put opinion: i always get compliments on this foundation. it makes skin look luminous and stays put. the colour is perfect for my skin tone and the foundation feels very comfortable to wear. it's very easy to apply Name: chanel double perfection fluide spf 15 shade : 20 clair-cameo coverage: medium price : $69 (i think) finish: matte skin type: this is more suited to oilier skin types as it has a very matte finish opinion: this foundation is not my favourite and will probably not wear it much. eta: gave this ^^ one more chance and have decided that i do actually like the finish - gives a matte finish, but it makes skin look flawless. BUT, it does smell funny when first applied - i have no idea why! Name: loreal true match shade: i mix both W2 light ivory and W3 nude beige coverage: light to medium price: about $25 i think finish: natural, slightly luminous skin type: probably suited to all opinion: i quite like this foundation. blends very well and has a very natural finish. even though i have combo skin it seems to stay put pretty well Answer: Name: Lancome Adaptive Shade: # 3 Beige Diaphane Coverage: Medium Cost: I cant remember - approx $45-$50 Finish: matte Skin type: Normal or combination Opinion: I like this foundation - doesnt break me out, good coverage and lasts all day. The colour also doesnt oxidize like my clinique clarifying make up. Name: Lancome Maquicontrole Colour: # 3 Beige Diaphane Coverage: medium Price: I think it was the same as the adaptive Finish: matt Skin type: combination & oily Opinion: I have combination skin and found this one even better than the Adaptive. My face stayed matt all day-no midday blotting required and it still looks good at the end of the day. Name: Face of Australia Stick Foundation Shade: Honey Beige Price: It was on sale at Priceline so I think I got it for approx $8.50 Finish: matt Skin type: suited to dry-normal skin Opinion: great for the price, but I found that I needed to blott during the day. Wasnt suited to my skin type but still a decent foundation. No break outs (I have skin that breaks out very very easily!) Answer: NAME: Revlon Colorstay Natural in Nude COVERAGE: Heavy- mix with moisturiser in summer. PRICE: $20 (cosmo-cosmetics in Chatswood) TYPE OF FINISH: Matte. RECOMMENDED SKIN TYPE: Normal-Oily LIKE IT? Love it. Stays all day with no fuss. Excellent shade for my skintone as well Answer: NAME: Loreal True Match W4 COVERAGE: Light to medium PRICE: $25 TYPE OF FINISH: Matte. RECOMMENDED SKIN TYPE: Normal-Oily LIKE IT: Not really. It left my skin sort of dryish and rough. Probably suited more for oilier skins. The blending was good though but I wouldn't buy it again NAME: Dermalogica Treatment Foundation COVERAGE: sheer to medium -can build up PRICE: $39.50 (SN ) TYPE OF FINISH: Dewy RECOMMENDED SKIN TYPE: Normal to maybe dryish skin LIKE IT: Love it. It made my skin so dewy. I was a bit skeptical because it had bad reveiws on MUA but is really good on my skin. My skin looks glowy Answer: Name: Armani Hydra Glow Shade: #2 Coverage: Buildable Price: $80 Type of Finish: Slightly dewy on me Recommended Skin Type: Dry Whether You Like it? Love it. My skin has been quite dry this winter, and this is the only foundation that's made it look good and make my skin glow. Name: Armani Luminous Silk Foundation Shade: #2 Coverage: Buildable Price: $80 Type of Finish: Dewy on the right skin types Recommended Skin Type: Combination, but definitely not dry Whether You Like it? I love this foundation. I'm quite sad I can't wear it at the moment, but my skin is way too dry for it. It literally does make my skin look luminous. Name: Chanel Double Perfection Fluide Shade: #10 Limpide Coverage: Buildable Price: $69 Type of Finish: Matt Recommended Skin Type: Combination - Oily Whether You Like it? I loved this for summer when I had combo skin, as it never made my skin feel oily. I wore it quite sheerly, and it just gave a beautiful polished finish. Name: Px Traceless Shade: Level 1 Coverage: Very sheer Price: $62 (I think) Type of Finish: Dewy Recommended Skin Type: Combination - Dry, but I don't think it would be good for oily skintypes, unless it was set with powder Whether You Like it? I didn't mind it, but I admit that I havent had the best luck with Px, so I'm still on a search for a perfect TM. I think it's great a product for someone who doesnt like foundation, but would still like to wear 'something.' Answer: Hey girls, I was gonna start a new thread for this but since its about an appropriate foundation for my skin I might as well include it in here. About to buy a new foundation and needing some specific recs for my skin type if possible. *Combo skin-oily blemishy T-zone, sometimes dryish cheeks and in places where I overdose on pimple cream *Medium Coverage Yep I have red spots and dots, a dull uneven complexion and need a foundation with a medium coverage-nothing sheer or with a similar light finish to a tinted moisturiser *Can last most of the day Need a foundation that can stay put and not slide off within a few hours or as soon as a bit of sunlight reaches my face. Basically I have your typical teenage skin. I'm currently using MAC Studio Tech atm in NW20..it's ok but just not cutting it anymore. I'm willing to get a good quality brand such as Lancome, Dior etc I don't mean to hijack this thread but if anyone has similar skin to me, I'd really appreciate some foundation recs-going to head down to the city on Tuesday to get it TIA Answer: Name: maybelline dream matte mousse - dark (cocoa) Coverage: Heavy, Price: $24 Type of finish: smooth, looks quite natural Recommended skin type: any You like it? I like it because it's the only one that has ever looked good on my dark skin... i wish i knew any other that are good for my dark skin, my skin tends to be a little oily.. so any suggestions will greatly be appreciated Copyright ? 2006 - 2007 www.thankhealth.com Privacy Policy
