Quick question... how should I sleep without creasing my hair?? Im so scared to touch it or anything in case I make kinks in it!!

i had my hair straightened at ginger over the weekend and i'm really happy with the results. i washed my hair for the first time yesterday and it has a "natural" straight look instead of a "flat" straight look. nice.

i just had my first re-growth done at Ginger a month ago, and they were fantastic! such a careful & thorough TR and really nice girls too
i definatly reccomend Ginger, and they are fairly cheap IMO too

Is Ginger an asian-based salon? I had a terrible experience at Planet Hair (Japanese salon) about 8 weeks ago.
I have very thick hair which is about 2 inches below my shoulders which is in very good condition... I haven't had any bleach in it for about 6 months now.

I would recommend Kin Sun Young in Burwood.. I got the best hair cut and nice colour there.. next time I get my hair straightened Im going there!

The staff from Ginger are Hong Kong Chinese, but the manager speaks English well. Before straightening your hair, she asks you when you last bleached/coloured/straightened your hair. This gave me the impression that they would only do it if they think it is apt, and they are not just out to make $$$. My hair is about 3 inches below my shoulders and they charged me $168.
I straightened my hair at Kim Sun Young in the city a few years ago. They're great as well but they charged me around $300. I'm not sure how much it costs now, as there is more competition.

After reading all the different threads, I can't decide between ginger and dreamix ... I had my hair coloured and had bleach foils about 2 weeks ago, how long do you have to wait until they will do it?
Also, is there anyone in particular at either salon who is better than the rest? Thanks!

i haven't been to dreamix so i can't compare.
if you've your hair bleached/coloured recently, it's best that you visit the salon personally and have a consultation.
it was my first visit to ginger and i didn't request for anyone in particular. it's a small salon and ALL four clients were having their hair straightened so i would think they're all pretty good.
