Gradual Hair Lightening
Question:
Hi! I went to priceline the other day to get my brother the product I've seen on tv quite awhile ago which you put in your hair like mousse and it gradually lightens the colour of it. I think it was sunsilk?? Does anybody know if they still sell this? Or anything of the like? Or is it off the market because it wasn't that good?

Answer:
The sunsilk one was discontinued. Don't know why.
There is another brand called Sun In. It's a spray. Haven't tried it myself, so can't say if it's good or not.

Answer:
Please please please don't use sun in!!!!!!!!! It's so cheap and nasty and it will make your hair feel like sticky straw. Oh and it makes your hair orange too.
Oh the joys of high school.... We were all using it in like 1995....

I was thinking the same thing. DON'T TOUCH THE STUFF!! Ask my mother, she was the one who had to fix my fried hair circa 1985!

Answer:
u had to use quite a few bottles of sunsilk to get the effect..i always used that blonde one for quicker results too bad they discontinued it, i want to lighten my hair again!

Answer:
I had both Sun-in and the Sunsilk one...I remember the commercial with the bleached hand print on the back of the guy's head, heheh.
I find both made my hair sticky, weak, brittle and orange...it also smelled of wee.
