Hair Extension Thread - Page 7
Question:
I agree WoW what gorgeous hair you have! Yes please tell the method! and also, what type of hair is it (100% russian, indian, etc etc). Tnx hun Answer: CDM how do they remove them? I've heard such scary horror story threads on this Answer: i dont find the removal damaging at all. I just use orange oil, apply it to the bonds which then go completely soft and crumble Answer: The hair i use is Bohyme i'm not entirely sure exactly where it comes from but it is gorgeous so silk soft and completely tangle free Answer: Its promising to hear that the bonds are easy to remove. Is the method Great Lengths? Also, how long can you wear the hair for before it needs replacing? (with lots of special deep treatments in btwn of course!) Lots of Q's! Tnx babe x Answer: To the girls who got clip on hair extensions from ebay - Who was your seller? Did you purchase from overseas? Answer: i recommend racoon hair extensions i have the weft sewn into my hair at the moment but i find the indivdual extensions so much better. Tnx babe x Hey, no problem i dont mind answering questions at all!! No i didnt use Great Lengths they are just a brand name and to be honest i have heard nothing but bad reports.. I keep my extensions in for 3mnths then have them replaced. When i have them removed the hair is basically still in the same condition as when i first had it installed, gorgeously silky and smooth. The extensions need to be removed when you start to get matting at the top of the bonds. The matting is caused my the hair which naturally sheds from your hair daily as it is trapped by the bond and matts with your hair between the scalp and bond. This is only to be expected and thats when i have them removed. If an extensionist tells you that the extensions can be worn for longer than 3 months run as by keeping them in for longer than this it will only cause matts and make the removal process damaging to your hair x. Answer: I've heard that Great Lengths reps are trained to advise clients that the GL's will last for 6mnths. This is complete rubbish IMO. Answer: [quote=Cosmetic*Chic]Let us know how they turn out! Well we did them! The hair was shorter than i though. First thing is they didn't send instructions and didn't send the clamp to clamp them down and they hair was shedding quite a lot but i wasn't too worried about that, it was more a practice with the method they gave us shrinkies stuff and the microlinks stuff we used the microlink method because it was a lot less visable it took a few hours to do each hair. Lucky i spaced them apart like your picture seeing we didn't have instructions. After the first few you get used to the application. With me, because ive already got long hair and these weren't too long, you sort of couldn't tell(but ill tell you how i fixed that up in a sec) but with my friend who had really short hair it made such a difference except im never going to order from this place again. The hair was just wayyyy to thin at the end. It just ruined it. So what we did to fix it up was get my old clip ins and we pre tipped them and added them in the same way. because my clip in ones were longer but thicker at the end, it then fixed it up so well. It thickened the ends out and made it look so much more. My hair is now lusious(sp) and long!!!!!!!!!!! i bought these hairs off ebay, should i complain to her? they hair just falls out very easily and its so thin around the last 5 cm its pointless. I will now look at Boyheme and Remi hair have you got any recs? Copyright ? 2006 - 2007 www.thankhealth.com Privacy Policy
