Good quality but cheap slimline straightener - Page 3
Question:
i just bought this, Remington Slimline Digital Ceramic with Teflon, today because my previous one (Aria Promini Ceramic) died on me (but to put it in perspective, i only paid a fraction of the retail cost for it, AND it was a really good straightener, heated up fast with great results.. plus i had it for well over a year, possibly 2, i can't remember) I got it for $35.95 from Priceline My reason for choosing it were mainly the raves on the forums, and the fact that i don't have much cash at the moment. I've only tried it once, it takes a while to heat up, and a few times to get the same effect as my old straightener, so so far i'm not too happy with it, but i'll give it some time to make up my mind whether i like it or not! Answer: Thanks riesenhaft and lipglossaddict!! Looks like I'm heading to Priceline tomorrow (and I just remembered I have a $25 voucher for there so it's only gonna cost me $10!! ) Jo Answer: definitely the Remmy. It does a great job (and I don't think mine takes long to heat up to 220C.) I got mine from DJs. Answer: Can you do all of your hair with this, or just fringes? Answer: I use it on my whole head of hair (although rarely, these days, since I got my Parlux :L Answer: how long would u say it takes to heat up? Answer: I do my whole head of hair with it and I have a LOT of hair! I use Cristalli Fluid as a heat protectant. Mine takes only a minute or two to heat up and it gets HOT.
