dirty hair best? - Page 2
Question:
Just a quick question - I just booked a hair appointment and the only time they had is tomorrow morning. My hair is really oily so I really want to wash it before the appointment, but according to this thread should I be leaving it dirty? I just dont want my hair dresser to be

Answer:
Just leave your hair.
If you are getting a cut, they wash it prior to cutting it. What's the point in washing it tonight?
And if you are getting a colour.. My hairdresser says she prefers oilier hair as it's easier to manage, then squeaky clean hair.

Answer:
I am getting a colour. Thank you for the advice lolligirl.

Answer:
So, if I'm getting a colour, my hair should be 'dirty'? Is it okay to have styling products in it?
TIA!

Answer:
I don't think it should be grotty dirty.. but if you've had styling products in it from a couple of days ago I don't think it matters. I wouldn't put mousse or hairspray in my hair the day of my appointment or anything like that though.
