Thanks for the feedback on this. I don't think my long hair looks silly - I totally agree that 30 isn't anywhere near old - was more worried that it might look like I am trying to look too young. Happy to hear so many others are hanging on to their long hair - I have had my hair long for such a long time that I wouldn't feel like me without it!

My bestie's aunt is in her 40s and she absoulutely glows in her long hair. I think the long hair makes her look younger. And it works! Dont worry about looking like you are trying to look young. If you keep worrying about it then THAT will age you!

All my besties mothers all have long hair and look like MILFS. It honestly makes them look younger. My friends mothers always get asked if they are sisters.
So YES to long hair for 30 and over.
Short hair makes you look your age.

I have a family friend who is 52 and has hair past her bum. She looks, acts and dresses like someone half her age.

The only thing I can add is that 'older' women who wear their hair long should keep it perfectly groomed - otherwise you risk looking as if you've 'let yourself go'

Jennifer Aniston, Courty Cox.. They are 38 to 40.. they look fab, yes they have stylist etc, but 30 is NOT old, you keep your hair long and if you look younger with it.. more power to ya !

Im in my early 30's and have very long hair just past my bra strap and i love it, and i will NEVER cut it off because im older, i will have it this long until I decide i want to change/cut it etc....
