Long hair over 30? - Page 4
Question:
I hate how women, usually 50plus, feel the need to get a man crop. Maybe if your hair is thinning, but why do you have to become sexless once you reach a certain age? If short hair suits you, go for it, on some women if can make them look younger. But you shouldnt cut it just cos some unspoken rule dictactes that long hair on older women is for some reason just not done

Answer:
Sorry.. just watching BB right now and how old is Gretel Kileen? Early 40s?? She looks great with longer hair, and would probably look wayyy older with short hair i reckon.

Answer:
I think 'older' women look gorgeous with long hair

Shame her skin gives the game away....
Go long hair. I think my mother's generation (Baby boomers) will be the first not to get stuck into the perms and blue rinse. So I say follow their lead!
I hate the real resigned to being old crop. Even the gorgeous Princess Mary (new Mum.. awww) looked her age so much more with her new bob.

Answer:
This forum is really really really age-ist... some of the comments and ideas are totally crazy.
The only thing I can think of is that some voguettes are reallllllllly young...like under 18...and cannot begin to fathom ever turning 30.
It will happen.
Long hair over 30 ??!?!?!!
'ken oath!!!
anything you want over 30

Answer:
Collette Dinnigan - she looks gorgeous with her long hair. Keep it long and keep it healthy and long hair looks great no matter what age.

Answer:
I'm a few years off 30 yet but I would never consider cutting my hair because I'm 30. As they say 30 is the new 20!

Answer:
I don't think anyone is too old to have long hair! 30 is totally not old anyway!!

Answer:
I agree.
Why is turning a certain age considered a deadline? I'm not going to suddenly feel differently or behave differently when I turn 30. I would never change my look just because society expects me to look like a certain age-bracket.
I think these old-fashioned rules are disappearing, but then questions like this get asked and it feels like we're back to square one for some reason...

Answer:
I cut mine also because I got sick of people asking me if I was on work experience or "Is this your first job?"
I am 31!! Not a child and sick of being treated as one :P xx
