Long hair over 30? - Page 6
Question:
I was never allowed to have long hair when I was in school & then when I left I kept on getting impatient and cutting it again. Now I've decided to grow my hair - it's now 5cm past my bra strap. I'm growing it down to my bottom. And I'm only a few years off 30.
I'm going to keep on growing my hair until I feel like a change not because it's expected since I've hit a certain age.

Answer:
wow some of these posts are lol.
long hair looks best on most IMO, no offense but i wish more women would keep their hair long. especially over 50 (im 20 for reference)

Answer:
Wow - I never expected responses to this question to get so heated! I wasn't intending the question to be ageist in any way at all. I didn't event mean to suggest that 30 was old. I think I probably got this idea from my Mum who cut here hair short as soon as she turned 30 - even though it suited her far more long - and it has stuck with me since I was a kid. I promise you, the only reason I will cut my hair is if I get sick of it being to long.

sorry Ihearshopping. not directed at you personally.
Just generally over the past year or so..although to me it seems in the last few months...there has been soooo many questions and opinions regarding age and hair/makeup/perfume/clothes etc etc etc.
I admit I am a little sensitive to it all...I'm 38 next week and I think I look fabulous...very few people guess my age.
Being 38 is certainly not what I thought it would be when I was 20....I'm single, have a great job and can do whatever I like whenever I like...so maybe from the other end of 38 (teens/early 20's) things look and seem different.
You just keep doing what you have always done if you are happy with it and you do it with more confidence and if you have long hair you confidently toss that hair over your shoulder and keep walking ahead , happy, confident and wiser.

Answer:
If you've got it flaunt it. Women pay top $$$ to have long hair and if it's healthy and you love it then stick with it.
