The nylon tends to bend very easily, so I would definitely buy a pure boar bristle one next time
I like it, but not as much as I thought I would. If I am not extra gentle, the nylon tends to scratch my scalp

Really? How bad is it?

I have mine but I don't think it's that fantastic. I honestly can't notice any difference from using a MP instead of a normal plastic hairbrush. Maybe it's because I have naturally straight and low-maintence asian hair. Plus the bristles are a bit short for my thick hair.
I have the boar/nylon blend which is the one they recommend for thick long hair.
