I dont think Ill ever be able to justify paying $100-$200+ for a hairbrush even if it was made out of gold!

I've only ever used MP hairbrushes - when I was a little girl I always had really long hair and my grandmother bought me a mini MP brush when I was about 5, which I kept and used until I was about 12, when she bought me a large sized MP brush, which I still use and which still works perfectly. I think of it as an investment as $200ish spread over 10 or so years is not very much and hairdresses always tell me how healthy my hair is, which I attribute partially to the brush. Definitely worth it imho!
